- Forest City is developing 3 class A office buildings on the currently fenced off lots between RTC transit and City Hall called “The Grid” project. - 917 Fremont Street is the next approved housing development project in the works which is a resort gaming group and Tony Hsieh project. It will be a five-story, 226 unit apartment complex, with 5 live in work units, and 15,000 sq. feet of commercial space. The Downtown Project (funded with $350 million in financial backing from Tony Hsieh) owns the land where the this development project will take place, along with dozens of other downtown properties.
- The new Nevada Supreme Court building development is a $20M project right in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. Developers are saying it might be the only leed gold State Supreme Courthouse in the country.
Downtown Las Vegas has never stopped moving, even though the excitement from the Downtown Project launch a few years ago has died down.
