A commercial real estate veteran with more than 13 years of investment brokerage success and client service, Dean Jalili has a proven track record of transaction experience and leadership in the CRE industry. Dean understands that landlords, investors, and tenants all require local and macro-industry knowledge coupled with the personal service of individuals and teams they can trust in order to make informed decisions with their commercial property investments. His ability to foster relationships, train, manage advisory teams, and analyze and understand market forces and cycles are all factors that have led to not only the success of his companies, but most importantly, his clients.
At the age of 18, Dean became the youngest individual hired (at the time) by insurance giant Cigna for their Medi-Cal Marketing Program. At Cigna, Dean was responsible for working with underprivileged families in LA’s inner city to determine health care alternatives. In 2002, Dean was recruited by an office leasing team at Grubb & Ellis (now Newmark Grubb Knight Frank) and subsequently left to pursue investment sales with Trec Investments, and Sperry Van Ness where he earned the coveted Partners’ Circle Recipient Award as a top 10 national broker.
In 2007, Dean founded Fortis Commercial Advisors with his brother Frank seeing a need for investment advisory to banks, secondary market loan purchasers, and commercial property investors as part of a changing real estate environment. He has since grown the company to be a local and regional leader in commercial real estate investment sales, analysis, property management, and leasing.
